This institute includes the BIOMMEDA research group active in the field of biofluid, tissue and solid mechanics for medical applications. Lead Scientist: Patrick Segers, full professor, 25 post doctoral and phd fellows.” Key competences of the unit: numerical analysis of stent-related devices, experimental /numerical analysis of arterial blood flow.
